We didn't build PivotX to chase metrics. We built it to mean something more.
PivotX exists because we lived this problem. We watched organizations invest in AI without a clear path to creating value, collect data they couldn't use, and launch initiatives that never had any business impact.
We knew there had to be a better way. So we built PivotX differently. We help organizations identify where data and AI can solve business problems and build products around how people already work. Then we stay until those products are adopted, not just deployed.

Run by people who've had to deliver results, not just advise on them.
Every leader on our team has sat where you're sitting. They've owned P&Ls, run global data and AI programs, and been accountable for the results. We don't advise from the outside. We get in the room, do the work, and stay until your team can run it without us.

Poornima Ramaswamy
Co-Founder & Co-CEO
Poornima Ramaswamy has spent more than 25 years helping organizations turn data into decisions. As co-founder and CEO of PivotX Advisors, she built the firm around a simple belief: that data only creates value when it changes how people work, not just how they report.
Her career runs through some of the most influential names in enterprise technology. At Cognizant, she built and led the AI and Analytics practice in North America, overseeing more than 15,000 employees across nine industry verticals and founding the firm's Chief Data and AI Advisory Council. At Qlik, she held three successive executive roles, ultimately serving as Chief Transformation Officer, where she ran a global office responsible for customer, partner, and internal transformation. In both roles, she worked from inside the business and owned the outcomes.
That operator's instinct defines how PivotX works with clients by treating data as a product rather than a byproduct of operations and not walking away until the work is adopted across the enterprise. Poornima is a recognized voice in the field, named to the National Diversity Council's Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Technology and published widely on data strategy, responsible AI, and organizational change. She holds a BS in Mathematics from the University of Madras and an MBA from ICFAI Business School.

Anand Swamy
Co-Founder & Co-CEO
Anand Swamy has spent his career building businesses from the ground up and scaling them further and faster than most. At PivotX Advisors, he brings that operator's background to a question most large organizations are still working through: how do you move from isolated AI pilots to something that improves how the business runs?
He has spent more than three decades scaling some of the largest technology businesses in the world. At HCLTech, he led the growth of the Ecosystems business more than elevenfold over seven years into a nearly $1.8 billion P&L, leading 10 global business units, structuring a joint venture with Intel Ventures, and contributing to a $2.1 billion landmark deal. Before that, he scaled Cognizant's Midwest manufacturing practice from $4 million to $52 million in just over three years. He has owned P&Ls, led transformations for Fortune 500 companies, and served on the partner advisory boards of Dell, Cisco, Intel, and VMware.
At PivotX, Anand leads a team that works alongside senior executives to define strategy, build the data and AI infrastructure that supports real decisions. As co-founder, he is responsible for whether PivotX's work improves how clients' businesses operate, not just whether it gets delivered. He also mentors early-stage founders navigating the gap between product and enterprise scale and holds an MBA from IBS Hyderabad and an executive leadership credential from Harvard Business School.

Kishore Jasti
Head of Technology and Delivery
Kishore Jasti has spent 25 years turning enterprise data strategy into production-ready infrastructure. As Head of Technology and Delivery at PivotX Advisors, he brings that architect's discipline to a question every enterprise client faces: how do you move from data ambition to a working system while delivering value in production?
He spent five years at JPMorgan as Global Head of Data Strategy, Information Architecture, and Engineering for the Corporate Technology line of business, leading large-scale data modernization efforts across the firm. Before that, he spent 19 years at Cognizant, consulting and delivering data and AI programs for clients including Barclays, American Express, BB&T, British Airways, NetApp, Novartis, and D&B.
At PivotX, Kishore leads technology architecture and delivery engagements, helping clients modernize their data foundations, adopt Data Mesh and data product operating models, and build practical agentic AI solutions. Julie Carpenter
Consulting Lead
Julie Carpenter has spent 35 years turning technology, data, and operations into board-level results. As Consulting Partner at PivotX Advisors, she brings that C-suite instinct to a question that decides whether a transformation program truly holds up: Can the data withstand the scrutiny of regulators, auditors, and the balance sheet?
Julie's career spans some of the world's largest Finance, Technology and Industrial organizations, including Oracle, General Electric, Cognizant, and PRA Group. At PRA Group, she led data-centric initiatives across financial operations, investment analytics, and debt collection. At Cognizant, as their first CDO, she laid a new foundation for AI and analytics at scale by creating a business performance insights platform powered by AI. At GE Capital, she built risk models spanning CCAR, credit risk, interest-rate risk, and liquidity risk. Her expertise spans data engineering, analytics, cloud architecture, data governance, cybersecurity, and regulatory risk—connecting the technical infrastructure beneath a transformation with the business outcomes it is expected to deliver.
Since 2021, Julie has focused on board and strategic advisory work, helping organizations drive revenue growth, operational efficiency, and resilience through data-centric and AI-driven strategies. At PivotX, she applies three decades of enterprise credibility to a simple principle: Transformation should not just be innovative. It should be measurable, defensible, and built to last.

Marcus Ansell
Principal Consultant
Marcus Ansell has spent more than 30 years proving that financial institutions can modernize without losing the operational discipline that got them there. As Principal Consultant at PivotX Advisors, he brings three decades of asset management and data expertise to the firm's financial services engagements.
Marcus has led innovation in asset management, data modernization, and generative AI across the US, Europe, and Asia. He introduced the SS&C HiPortfolio asset management product to Europe and directed DST International's global product strategy across front office, back office, and data warehousing, later leading the company's US business for eight years and adding risk solutions and managed services. At Cognizant, he designed and developed the Customer Journey Analytics and predictive AI cloud service. At Genpact, he led the global financial services data and analytics advisory team through data modernization, governance, and AI-driven programs.
Marcus applies that record at PivotX to help top-tier financial institutions modernize cloud data platforms and customer analytics without disrupting the business they already run.

Sanket Pathak
Data Scientist

At PivotX Advisors, Sanket has led cross-functional engineering teams and designed AI solutions across cloud platforms, working from early solution architecture through production deployment and evaluation. Bob Friedland
Chief Marketing Officer
Bob Friedland has spent more than 25 years turning complex business goals into narratives that move customers, investors, and stakeholders to action. As Fractional CMO at PivotX Advisors, he brings that operator's instinct to a question growing consulting firms face constantly: how do you build a brand and market presence that keeps pace with the work itself.
His background spans in-house and agency roles across consumer brands, technology companies, and high-growth businesses. At Scribd, he led global campaigns for Scribd Originals, building integrated marketing programs across earned, owned, paid, and influencer channels. As Senior Vice President at Kaplow Communications, he built and managed multimillion-dollar accounts and guided clients through issues and crises. Earlier, at Toys"R"Us and FAO Schwarz, he revitalized flagship programs including the Holiday Hot Toy List and helped launch the company's first private-label tablet. His programs have generated billions of media impressions and supported hundreds of millions in sales.
At PivotX, Bob leads marketing strategy and positioning for the firm. He holds a B.A. in journalism from Cook College at Rutgers University.
Collectively, our leadership team has led data and AI transformation at some of the world's largest enterprises, including Fortune 500 companies across financial services, healthcare, and technology.
We've spent decades working with enterprise data, long before AI made it every company's top priority. We understand data as an ongoing business responsibility, not just as a problem to solve before running an AI model.
It's personal
Both of PivotX's co-founders grew up in modest homes, sometimes less than 500 square feet, where opportunity wasn't always within reach. Both know what it means to hit a wall and be left thinking "if only." Those moments change how you see the world.

Our lives didn't change because the path got easier. They changed because, at critical moments, someone opened a door. Someone took a chance. Someone created an opportunity we could step into.
PivotX is about building that door for other people. Because everyone deserves a chance to walk through a new one.
Your AI investment doesn't end at deployment.
We work alongside your team to make sure new technology fits how your business actually operates. That means your people know how to use it, and your organization sees measurable value from adoption, not just from the deployment itself.
Data and AI should change how your business operates, not sit alongside it as a separate initiative. That's what it means to become truly data-centric, and that's what we build toward in every engagement.
Performance and humanity aren't at odds
Too many firms promise transformation and deliver reports. We don't. Data and AI should fundamentally change how a business operates, not remain a side project that never reaches production. That's what we build toward, every engagement.
Data and AI don't discriminate. In the right hands, they're the great equalizers. We exist to put them in yours.
That belief extends beyond our clients
Hiring with purpose
We've committed to hiring at least 15% of our workforce from communities that are too often overlooked, including veterans, people with disabilities, and those who never had the right door open. We aren't there yet. But we're building toward it every day.
Giving back
We've committed 1% of our annual revenue to organizations creating real, lasting change. It's not charity. It's a responsibility.

Shekar Hariharan

"At Shifting Orbits Foundation, we believe it takes more than good intentions to change a child's educational trajectory - and it takes consistent, committed partners who show up year after year. PivotX has been exactly that for us. Because of PivotX, over 100 students across two underserved communities in South India have something that should be universal but rarely is — a structured, caring space to grow every single day. And when they extended internship opportunities to our college students, they didn't just fund education; they completed the circle. On behalf of every student, every family, and every coordinator at SOF who shows up every single day, thank you, PivotX. You are not just a sponsor — you are part of our family."

Come be part of it
We're building something that leaves people, and the businesses we work with, better than we found them. Because someone once did that for us. Now it's our turn
